18-Hole Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course

Touted as the “Jewel of the Inner Banks,” this 7,463-yard 18-hole championship masterpiece features 11 holes paralleling the majestic Albemarle Sound and scenic Salmon Creek. Our members take pride in their connection with this nationally recognized course and delight in sharing the experience with family and friends. For our part, we’re dedicated to ensuring smooth and memorable play, while always providing a reason to return.

Boating Facilities

At Occano, life on the water means freedom without limits and fun at every turn. When your boat isn’t out exploring, it rests securely in storage, always ready when you are. Launch with ease from the private club ramp, tie up at a slip, and step aboard with your crew. From quiet drifts across the Albemarle Sound to cruising the Intracoastal or chasing open horizons, the water is never far. It’s part of everyday life.

The River Club

The River Club is the name given to Occano’s Pool & Fitness Center, where friends and neighbors come together to foster connections and make memories. Overlooking the Albemarle Sound, the venue itself brings together incredible views with inviting amenities. Once inside, the combination of a workout room and resort-style pool brings together a range of generations. All having fun and all growing closer at Occano.

Tennis & Pickleball Courts

Whether you’re rallying with friends on the tennis courts or getting competitive with a lively game of pickleball, the energy here is contagious. You’ll be greeted with a smile, be given any insight that may help your game, and offered an attentive ear when your round is complete and you’ve got stories to share.

The Grill at Salmon Creek

Step into Occano’s main restaurant to find the kind of great food and easy-going vibes that fit with its Inner Banks location. No jackets, no reservations, no sommelier—just cold drinks, coastal flavors, and a place where flip-flops are always welcome. Dig into a stacked burger or something off the grill, just be sure to save room for dessert.

Salmon Creek Waterfront Park

The attraction of the Albemarle Sound isn’t exclusively reserved for boaters. Some like to simply drink in its beauty from the shore, feel its breezes, and listen to its calming tones. For them, and for all members really, we offer Salmon Creek Waterfront Park.

Here is a place where you can lie on the warm sand to soak up the sun, then refresh yourself with a splash in the cool water. Carry a picnic lunch to the park for a quiet and romantic afternoon away. And in the evenings, there’s always stacked wood next to the fire pit, allowing you and your friends to tell stories long into the night.
